Yes a GTX 1080 can push 120+fps on CS:GO even at 1440p ultrawide just fine [:

Any Ultrawide's with great colour and 120hz (atleast), resolution isn't a big deal to me.

29UM68-P is probably your best bet however refresh rate would be limited to the 80~90hz.

However it is the best cost-to-benefice for sure, it's IPS Matte screen is awesome; 99% sRGB so colours will not be an issue. Also 2560x1080p sweet size is 29 inches, the 25 inches variant is too damn small and the 34 inches too damn big and will get pixelated to where it will bother you for sure even if you're not picky about resolution.

LG has an ultrawide 34 inches 2560x1080p monitor that operates at 144hz (the 34UC79G-B) however you will be paying a lot more for worse image quality, not worth it in my opinion... I even play CS:GO at 80hz using the 29UM68-P and am extremely satisfied since its GTG and Input delay are really good.

The problem is I do a lot of competitive gaming and I am currently using a 144hz 16:9 and I tried 60 hz and couldn't use it. But I also do a lot of art work with a wacom tablet on photoshop so the monitor needs to look gorgeous. The issue i'm facing is that they usually conflict colour over speed. I do need atleast 120hz otherwise I won't be able to use it in competitive gaming (CSGO) - money isn't a big deal for me at this point. I have been looking for monitors which have good sRGB like the Z35 but the issue is that the monitor has terrible reviews for ghosting and input lag etc and like you said 1080p with 35inch is too large for pixels..

I thought this one couldn't be overclocked.

If money is not an issue the best bet then is the Acer x34, you can disable G-Sync and OC its refresh rate to 120hz.

It also has one of the best IPS panels but.... like I said you'll be paying full premium then... Any ways I'm on Gold Nova 4 at CS:GO playing with that monitor at 80hz... I do think it's good enough, like they say there is much more noticeable difference going from 60hz to 100hz than 100hz to 144hz

Will a 1080 be able to support that with 120fps constantly in games like CSGO? + I love your picture :P

I'll let you know Friday for sure but most everything I've seen said it can be overclock to 120hz. If it can't I'll be returning mine lol

Yeah I like it, the screen isn't as good as the IPS X34. But it is 120Hz so it's a trade off. The colors/contract ratio are way great and the build quality is solid.
