Buying a PC for VFX and Video Editing

Hi Friends,

I finished my studies in Post production, with a good background in IT but not too good with hardware lol,

My Budget is $2500 to $2800 CAD

If I can save money that would be great (who doesn't want to save)

So here is what I am planning to build,

Preference as below:

GPU:                                 1080 ti 11 GB (guide me which company)     heard that EVGA is coming up with liquid cooling.

CPU:                                  i7-7700 K (if any other preference guide me which one )

Motherboard:                    (guide me which one) might go for SLI in future. over-clock needed for performance.

RAM:                                 16 GB to 32 GB  (2400-3200 )      (if there is no RGB it's ok, that way i will be able to spend money in other components)

Storage:                             512 GB M.2  and 2 TB hard-drive

CPU Cooler:                     (guide me which one) which keeps the CPU real cool. Liquid cooling prefered

PSU:                                 (guide me which one)

Case:                                not looking for fancy but has good specs.

Monitor:                            If it can come in the budget, or else I'll throw some more money to get one, but your suggestions are still worth diamonds :)

Also throw suggestions on where can I save money and your comments on this build will really be appreciated.

Love you all tech lovers.

Waiting for your suggestions.

32 Gigs of ram, will be nice if you do a lot of heavy editing, you need an x370 board if you ever want to add a second gpu, ryzen 7 1700 is pretty good for vfx and video editing, you get 8 core/16 threads instead of 4/8 for a 7700k, though the 7700k is still a solid performer. Decent liquid cooler, could get a better one for like 40 bucks more with a 240 mm rad instead of a 120. Also a white, nice looking color theme, if you're into that.

I have heard about Quaddro or FireGL, but they are pretty expensive if I go with a good one.

Indeed I really appreciate all your suggestions. I am very thankful.

About Ryzen 1700 having 8 core/16 threads is what would be awesome with the price they have.

If there is still more ideas or suggestions, all are welcome as it will guide this poor me a lot.

Thanks again...
