Phanteks sickest new case - Phanteks Evolv SHIFT // SHIFT X

MatsNorway

This case is way cool. Some may have seen me doing the math on footprint/size (chart) and boom this baby shows up with a tiny footprint.

With a footprint of 170 x 270 = 45900 -> what in the fuck.. i had to punch those numbers in twice. This concept will be the new trend for sure. I almost want to cancel my order on the Define C.. Probably will not support my current gear tho. just saying.

I don't care that it would be more cramped, I want to watercool the smaller case so badly.

Indeed. With the Dan case A4 the footprint is 36624 (including protruding PCI bracket.

The shift looks interesting, but the X looks a little bit derpy being so tall. It's going to fall over every time the dog, cat, women with shopping bags come visit.

Phanteks Evolv beauty plus bottom-to-top airflow? Damn, this just might replace the Evolv matx and FT03 mini as my favorite case.

they need to make a deeper version that supports full ATX boards, this would make an AWESOME HTPC/Living Room VR, if they made it deeper they could increase the rad support, i've already got a H100iV2 for my CPU and will be doing a Hybrid conversion (either with the EVGA Hybrid kit or a Kraken G12 with like an H55 AIO) to my 1080ti at some point after it arrives.

Actually while it looks cool I am far more interested in the Phanteks P300 they announced: It seems to address a lot of the issues I had with the P400 which is that it looks far too empty without a water pump or something to filled it. This one looks closer in size to the Corsair 400c with almost no wasted space between the front and the motherboard, just enough clearance for decent sized GPUs but with a tempered glass side panel and rock bottom price for it (60 bucks)

This is my last mITX build for a long time. Its a pain in the ass to maintain, in order to just clean and change thermal paste i had to strip it down to bolts.

I'm in the market for a small length / depth type case. So this thing is right up my alley. Any ideas on release date and height of these cases?

Also bit sad no type C ports... i guess they'll be on the mobo itself.

Thats a mobo thing for sure. But perhaps for the final release.. Anyway. this video is really new and there is zero.. 0 pics on google on the case yet. So expect some waiting time.

I like the case, but I hate the fact that they made the smaller version a lesser case. Why take away features just because it's smaller? Kind of turns me off to it tbh.

Yeah me too. If we could have a silent version like the P400 that be super nice.
