Monitor stands or mounts

aprofile

Hi,

Considering getting a stand or mount for my monitor (see pics of setup attached) because I currently use a wireless keyboard/mouse but am going to upgrade the keyboard to a wired one. Want to make sure that I have enough room on my desk so it would be good if I could push my keyboard forward to make room for books etc. for me to work on. Any recommendations as to go for a stand or mount? Also any recommendations for specific models would be great (I live in the UK).

Thanks,

One of my favorite ones I've seen is the aluminium base from silverstone, a little pricey but really nice and simple. In the meantime textbooks are always a good option :P

It will be cheaper for a stand and it has storage space (depends on the brand) arm it could be finicky ( still offers storage space but at a cost of visibility)

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

Proabably a little expensive for me. More looking at the £20-£40 range but leaning a bit towards the lower end

that display looks cheaper than the monitor stands we have at work :P

It's LG 22 or 24 inch display and it would be about 100-200£

There are lots of options out there, just take a look around. This looks pretty nice and fitting with the bamboo design of the desk:

A bunch of old books.

Else I would just say "Get a new monitor with an adjustable stand"

Thanks. Guessing you recommend a stand. Will have a look at around but that one looks pretty nice.

Would prefer it to look nice and store stuff under it if I can so not gonna use some books. Don't feel like buying a new monitor either.

W-L has a good recommendation

@aprofile

If you want a more budget option, my dad uses the AmazonBasics stand and it works perfectly

Thanks. Looks pretty nice and it is very affordable so seems like a good option.

Yeah. I saw that too. Seems pretty good for the price so I am definitely considering it unless I see something else insanely well priced. Between this, the basics one and the bamboo one at the minute so will have a look at the reviews and differences and decide. Thanks for the help everyone.

Was considering the duronic one but not sure how it would work with a bevelled edge (see pic). I was considering slipping a small peice of wood underneath for it to clamp to but not sure.IMG_20170530_115611259_HDR.thumb.jpg.cba3e9ce91918aad0e6b2ff8ed617108.jpg
