What is LTT

Y'all are missing the point, why are they hiding all kinds of stuff from us, and act like what Luke is doing is secret, or this stuff. They are acting like a company, more than the normal YT channel?

LMG is a media channel in a similar way to Rooster Teeth in that they produce media content that is distributed for consumption on YouTube.  In a similar way to how Rooster Teeth has their First program, LMG is also working on their Floatplane Club for distributing media although I think that as far as the platform goes will have it own distinct differences.  If you really want to ask @LinusTech or @Slick what (if anything) they are hiding, then you could always try to include them in your question, however, I think it'll be the same answer.

LTT is not a simple amateur YouTube channel, it is a Media Group like FOX or Warner Bros or Discovery Channel etc... which main vehicle to expose content is YouTube instead of normal TV.

They have multiple channels for tax reasons. Which is smart.

I'm not sure what we're hiding lol. It's never been a secret that we're a company, and Luke is working on Floatplane Club.

They produce videos for clients and maybe do some sales, the Youtube channel is just a side gig. What do you think those 20 employees do.

YouTube videos are our core (90%+) business.

Multiple channels have nothing to do with taxes. It's more to do with optimizing for the YouTube algorithm. Tax law (unlesls you're some kind of gadzillionaire who uses offshore accounts and tax loopholes, etc) is pretty straightforward.

Money in (revenue) - Money out (expenses) = Profit

Profit * (some modifier, in Canada about 35% iirc) = Taxes.

The CRA (Canadian IRS) gives zero Fs if we made a dollar on Tech Quickie or LTT.

Are there Vacancies to work on Linus Media Group? Three days ago I dreamed working with you, discussing about graphics card I think

Never thought in a million years I'd see an administrator respond, not sure who's behind the account, but I'm specifically referring to all the things Luke doesn't want to talk about on WAN Show? Also, you pay 35% taxes? Canada doesn't fuck around on corporations.

Here, by the way, did someone IP ban me because I cannot access the website without a VPN?

Ah ok, I was thinking more along the lines of family income, streaming it towards them to reduce taxes. Say having consultants and such, or each channel owned by different family members under different incorperated name / #. It can be done multiple ways.

Just going to mention that I think it's been pointed out many times over that Luke is working on the Floatplane platform when they are talking about some stuff he really doesn't want to mention.  As to why, it probably has to deal with him not wanting to talk about something that is still in development to raise expectations or give false expectations for a final product.

No, an IP ban looks very different. That error means that the forum must have gone offline temporarily when you tried to access it.
