AND, I think if I had the equipment I could stream in 4K :D

Australia has pretty shit Internet, but atm the government is rolling out fibre to the whole country, can't wait

Yeah, they're setting it up in my suburb. I was walking around and a truck went by with 3 big rolls of cabling.

I had this speedtest done.

 

BUT, I downloaded Max Payne 3 a little after this, and I downloaded it at 786 Mb/s (98.3 MB/s) which tells me (with my basic networking skills) that since only 80% of the connection is usually used, I must have a 1Gb/s connection for download.

Though i won't lose any body part for that speed, unlike linus and slick who consider it.
