FCC has voted to OVERTURN Net Neutrality

Hey, kiddo. If the liberals overstep the boundaries that have been set in place in this democracy, I'm going to go into the streets and show my disdain. You're adding the destruction of property bit in yourself.

So you're saying you'll be rioting peacefully? What does that look like exactly? Also why do you want him impeached when you say he has done nothing impeachable?

I thought you were fundamentally arguing that he had done something impeachable, but this straw man is... yawn... getting dry.

If he was impeached on legitimate grounds which HAVE NOT YET BEEN PRESENTED, I would be okay with that, providing that Pence took office and instituted marshall law.

Maybe take this to DMs if you want to go further. I'm already awaiting the banhammer, just for the black thing.

I still want to hear about how you'll riot without destroying anything. And why is martial law good if Trump has been impeached for an impeachable offense? Also why are you saying liberals would impeach Trump? They don't have any such power to do that. The GOP controls the house and would have to institute impeachment hearings themselves.

THen there's obviously no worry of impeachment, huh?

I'm still interested in how you riot peacefully and why you want martial law if Trump is impeached for an impeachable offense he committed.

They're trying to make changes to the Digital Economy Bill to have  the power to block any "adult content" on an ISP level in the UK. It's done under the guise of "protecting children from pornography" but really it's worded so vaguely that it just basically gives them the power to block anything they choose to. Much like how this plan is under the guise of stopping terrorism, it's really just giving the government a massive amount of power that they shouldn't have.

Honestly, the UK is the worst Western country in terms of online privacy and future prospects for internet usage. Much worse than the US if you ask me. The US is founded upon freedom so it's very difficult to try to take Americans' freedom from them. Here in the UK, we don't have such a big focus on freedom or a solid, underlying constitution (we do have one though, contrary to popular belief), so it's easier to try to take freedom away, which is exactly what the Conservative government has been doing and are now trying to take to the next step.

One of my biggest concerns is how they plan to go about creating a regulated internet where what you say and post is limited. Will they take China's approach of just banning major social networks to prevent the spread of extremism and mind sets that the government doesn't like? Maybe they're try to push for a ban on encryption again (yes, they tried to do that before) and abandon every UK citizen's privacy and security in exchange for catching Dave, who has been selling weed to his mates. Because let's face it, terrorists that actually pose a real threat to the UK and other nations are going to be using secure communications with good encryption standards. Even if you ban it, they're still going to use it so it doesn't help at all.

I've never really been a supporter of the Conservative party, but in previous elections I just hoped they wouldn't win. I was disappointed when Cameron was elected but I could deal with it. This time around I genuinely dread the Conservative party winning. I really hope the 18-24 age range get up and vote this time as ultimately, we're the ones that are going to be getting fucked over the most from Brexit and the Conservatives. I want to buy a house and actually retire at some point but I can't see that happening under the Conservative government.

Also, Darth May.

First of, great pic. Secondly, I feel the same way. The UK is going towards some sort of extreme itself, where if the China approach happens, every normal person is going to get screwed over, whether they know about it or not.

Like said, terrorism is a good word/excuse to use to justify things. Why are you taking our privacy away?, because terrorists. Why are you allowed to check on everything I say/do online, because terrorists. And the list goes on.

And I do think that they will most definitely limit what people can say, especially if it is something negative towards the Conservatives. Didn't they already do that in some form with Google? Like if you typed into Google: Conservatives are... the autofill wouldn't list the normal ones such as assholes, fuckers etc. even though that would be the case when typing the same about Labour for example.

When it comes to the voting itself, I feel and fear that the age group you mentioned won't, yet again, be active enough, when it comes to voting. People of that age could really make a huge difference, but getting a decent number to vote, seems to be almost impossible.

Solution would be to make voting mandatory, so everyone would have to vote. And this doesn't just apply to young voters, it applies to everyone. People complain about their current situation, government this, government that, but then you ask, well, did you vote?, many say no. WTF? Your right to complain about the current situation ends, if/when you don't vote.

Also the biggest supplier of federal taxes to the United States not to mention home to the country's best tech industries. CA also provides about 1/3 the nations food.

So its in the best interest of everyone to not hate on Ca for being a major contributor to the Union.

CA is in a large amount of debt.

So you can support net neutrality by consistently arguing against any kind of government policy to regulate ISP's? Amazing. Thrilling. Truly marvelous. As long as we do nothing, and let the benevolent, caring capitalist system bend us over, everything will turn out A-okay! Man, is this what Republicanism stands for, I would have joined ages ago!

The Russian hacks themselves are coming into question. Wikileaks has repeatedly insisted that they were given the emails by a leaker ( almost definitely Seth Rich ) and not a Russian hacker. More and more evidence is surfacing in support of this theory, so this throws a huge wrench into the collusion theory.

@SteveGrabowski0 The collusion is an illusion. And its not called the Washington Compost for nuthin.

Seriously though, search the keywords Seth Rich and wikileaks. Why would wikileaks put out a reward for the assassin's prosecution?

I should stop repeating myself, but whatever.

Net neutrality did almost nothing. ISPs still screwed you in certain sites and your download speed.

Its still a huge symbolic and moral loss... policy isnt even always about effectiveness but about taking a stand, and working towards effective policy from there with reforms to work out the kinks.

California, the most cucked and most expensive state in the United States. Unsurprisingly, it's also very smug in the large cities and is in literal trillions (or at least hundreds of millions) of debt, last I remember.

Beautiful state though.
