IMO Auidovox makes the best headphones. They even have "audio" in the name so you know they're good.

so.. i used to have a $50 skullcandy pair back when skullcandy meant streetcred, when those wore out beyond sensible repair i got a pair of $20 sennheisers, having experienced both i'd take the sennheisers over the skullcandy any time.

 

and in terms of who makes the best... well.. technically.. sennheiser has these:

Under $30 Skullcandy makes some of the best headphones, if not the best: the Skullcandy Navigator. That headphone is a friggin' steal! 

 

On the other hand, most things Sennheiser sells under $30 are cheap, plastic headphones that sound hollow. So whoever said that $20 Sennheisers sound better than Skullcandies has never tried the Navigator.

I had some skullcandy plyr1 headphones that sounded alright when compared to the previous pair of Astro A40s I had before them.  I immediately returned them though because the microphone was crap to the point where nobody on my team could hear me because it was so low even with the volume all the way up.  After getting a refund I purchased some Sennheiser PC360s and they were amazing.

Buddy I just wanted to state that you are comparing apples to Mercedes Benz here ? None the less, Skull Candy isn't a bad brand they just aren't realiable as many many others. probably best to compare to to cars :D

- skullcandy is <insert asian car brand here>

- sennheiser is mercedes benz

 

the asian car brands do very well on the cheaper end, but if you need a "premium" driving experience, mercedes benz is where it's at.

Senheiser is way better. In almost everyway. The only skull candy i found reasonable compared to sennheiser is the Jib+ Wireless simplicity. It wireless and has good sound quality beating many earbuds in the 50-60 dollar range and for around 20-30 dollars is a great option for those on a budget. BTW the cx5.00 is also a great sennheiser option. for those on a budget nut it isn't wireless. In the end I chose sennheiser though.
