When I was young my dad was using a NeXTstation and a Thinkpad 760L xD

 

 

 

Pretty sure he had a StarTAC as well. What a time to be alive. LOL

The first time he got a 6210 and I was able to play snake though? That was the start of my deep decent into mobile obsessions.

Yes you had to wait for the OS to shut down, then you could physically shut down the machine. It was a by product of windows having the option to actually shut down windows to MS-DOS. 

You hoped you saved your progress on everything constantly. Then prayed that nothing was corrupted.

man i remember when youtube started hosting 1080p content, and how my pitiful pentium laptop at the time couldn't hack it. Not to mention when they dropped 60FPS videos, i had to watch everything in 480p for years :D

Yeah...Id rather have a BSOD in a modern windows mid gaming than have my Windows Copy be currupted
