AFAIK, SSHDs load the most frequently used files on the SSD part... And I assume that the OP isn't going to be playing the same game all the time...

Pretty much a waste of money buying SSHD's, if you could assign specific programs to the SSD cache they'd be worth buying but as you pointed out their design doesn't really make them much faster than a regular HDD

I had WD Black before I went to SSD, and it's great HDD. The only thing that was bothering me, was vibration from it. But that happens with all HDDs because something is spinning inside. That was the only reason I went to SSD.

 

Not 100% sure, but if I remember corectly, I had about 170MB/s read speed on WD black 1tb.
