between the 1060 and the 1070 I would get the RX 480 8GB. Its right in the middle. Slightly better than the 1060 for way less than the 1070.

If you get a 1060, make sure it's the 6GB version as 3GB is a slower processor.  I game at 2560x1080 (so a little higher than HD) and 1060 lags behind in SOME games below 60fps on ultra settings.

Honestly, I'd wait to buy one right now.  With the 1080 ti making a major dent in the upper marketplace and the 1080 dropping in price, I wouldn't be surprised it the rest of the market of the 1070/1060 get a price cut soon.

a 1070. a significant performance bump from 1060/480 to a 1070. but i would look around for a 480, since it's a sweet spot for 1080p

but personally i don't think getting a GPU may be a good thing if you're studying a lot. it's all in moderation, tho

Guys you missing the point.. i know the 1070 is better but i dont know how to spent my money..

should i spent 400EUR on a 1070? 400EUR is a lot.. i mean i am a student is it right if i make this kind of choice? I will not playing games all day if i get a new gpu thats for sure i dont have that issue

as a student should i try to give the lowest $ possible

i dont know how to think? What questions should i ask my self?

then get a 1060 or 480, preferably a 480. at 1080p either of these cards are good at that resolution (make sure to get the 8gb versions).
