1440p Ryzen 7 1700x Interesting results

Stay tuned everyone.  I am about 66% of the way done benchmarking this chip against 2 others I own.  I'll post my results, but check out my feed on LTT for the actual video.  But a few weird things.  In many games my 4690k has a much lower min and slightly higher max thus far.  Frame rates are much more consistent.  No overclocks and I still have the bench my 4790k.  Below are the games I did.

GTA V

For Honor

Watchdogs 2

Battlefield 1 (new one)

World of Warcraft (flight)

3D Mark Firestrike

3D Mark Time Spy

EDIT: See my status update for the full video!

See the mins will be better on an 8core because background tasks dont take away from the games cpu usage

If you're using windows 10, it's impossible to turn everything off.

they're always running some program to scan through your files and steal them to earn money from targeted ads for security reasons.

Thanks for sharing. There seems to be something odd with the i7 WoW benchmark min framerate, though, so probably worth a rerun or just ignoring that particular one. The rest seems fine.

I kept doing frames. I think the w10 install is junk. It's 18 months old.

I'm surprised by the Watch Dogs benchmark, I figured it would be behind Intel considering other benchmark results.
