Cleaning Your Rig!

So I cleaned my rig for the first time in who knows how long today?!?! 

 

It was absolutely disgusting but it gave me a chance to tidy up the cabling a little and a few other bits.

 

How often do you guys or girls give yours a clean?

I clean every 6 months or so.  or when i do upgrades to anything.

I need to start cleaning mine more often! So..much...dust!!!

Every year  just before the fall semester starts, I give it a quick hit with compressed air and a vacuum. I strip the whole thing completely down to the case to clean everything every 4 years.

I try to clean the inside of my PC at least once a year... Or whenever I want to change a component/have an issue.

But I generally clean up my dust filters when I notice they are full of dust, like every 2 months or so. (I also have a huge air purifier in my room, so dust accumulation takes longer than "normal".)

I clean filters every couple of months, with a full clean every six months ish

I must have ocd or something. I clean my filters every month. An i open my case up to clean any dust off surfaces when I can see it.

I generally clean out my rig every 3-4 months or so. I'll usually clean out the fans and redo some cable management stuff if I feel like I can make it a bit neater. I've had to do it a bit more often though since I've been upgrading my rig here and there the last few months.

I clean miner when the fans physically cannot spin anymore, and the system so sluggish from thermal throttling that even booting into the os takes two weeks.

This is more like my kind of cleaning schedule haha
