This is a poll to see what Cherry MX switches you guys use. I use Blue's and want to see what the most popular switches are.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I'm using Browns now. This is my first mechanical keyboard and I had planned on going with Blues, but the keyboard I wanted wasn't available with Blues. Browns were the closest thing to it (that was available).

Using Blues in stores and such makes me kinda like them more, but I don't seem to like to the spacebar on keyboards with Blues.

I use Outemu and Cherry Browns on two different boards. I'm one of few people who genuinely prefers Browns to Clears. Cherry Browns are definitely more consistent than Outemus. My ideal switch is probably Zealios with a 45g Cherry spring; I haven't been fortunate enough to try out this combination myself, but I think it would fit my preferences perfectly.

I love browns, would love blues if they weren't so LOUD. At the moment, I'm still using a rubber dome keyboard, though.

I gotta say... I don't think Blues are as loud as everyone says.

I made a custom board and soldered the board with only Cherry Blues.

They fell good, sounds great, their consistency are great and I couldn't be happier.

Of course if you use it in a silent environment where most people don't want to be bothered everyone will get annoyed because you are a fucking asshole.

They ditched Blues because 'gamers' prefer Red and now the the Mx Silent.

Only think you can get is Browns but it's really hard to find.

Blues are my favorite, and what I've used at home for the last ~4 years. I would love to pick up a keyboard with browns for the office though.

my first and only mechanical keyboard has reds in it and i like them well enough, but i think Browns might of been a better choice.

i still bottom out the keys out of habit and i think the tactile feedback would of aided in preventing that.

I am currently looking for a wireless keyboard that uses browns to replace my work keyboard.

My brother bought a mechanical keyboard for his computer. It was a razor board, don't know the switch type. I used it for a coulle of hours while I did some work on his system. Computed was genuinly dissatisfied. Everyone was hyping them up and I didn't really feel it. I prefer his old membeane (which is now my main board btw) which is a logitech K120 (I think).

I was going to come here to shitpost but decided to give my hones opinion instead.

Mechanical is still better than this damn smartphone touchscreen.

If it's a Razor keyboard from the past 3 years, then he was using Razors in house key switches. I also think they kinda sucked when I tried them at Bestbuy, but I think you should give the other mechanical keyboards a try, I believe you will quite like them if you use them at some electronics store.

Hmm, I'm the only Grey (tactile) user so far, though I also have keyboards with Blues, Greens, and Clears. My Brown keyboard, I gave to my dad.

I prefer heavy switches (though I'd like something heavier than Grey), and they must be tactile. Clicky or not doesn't matter so much.

I am weird. My perfect switch would be a hybrid of blue and red. The weight of a red with the tactile and click of a blue. This kinda sucks because I also record and stream.

MX Reds on my Vengeance K65.

The motherfucker costed me $70, I won't complain. Feels really nice to type, and it's damn near perfect for me in Team Fortress 2.
