Hi

I just bought a laptop with a USB typ c connector, and i wonder if it have thunderbolt.

USB-C is the type of connector, it can have thunderbolt or USB 3, depending on the device.

If it is thunderbolt then USB devices are automatically compatible.

Depends, easiest way is to look for the thunder symbol next to the port. But then again that can just be a symbol for charging.

Look at your product booklet or specs.

No - Just like not all rectangles are squares, not all USB-C is thunderbolt.
