Best Gaming Laptop Under $700

So, i am looking for the best price to performance laptop, so far i have found the Lenovo Idepad 700. Is there anything better i can get for the price?https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FJFN872/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_s59KybTRK2JD9

I kinda doubt it. Acer has some "gaming" laptops with i5-7200U processors and GTX 940MX or GTX 950M GPUs around the $600 mark, but nothing with a true quad-core. Plus, there are many who feel about Acer as I do about Dell...

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Your best bet is increasing your budget a hundred and getting the Acer VX 15 (upon release) or Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming. Those are probably the better gaming laptops for the dollar, and if you go to $900, you can get a 1050 Ti.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Yes, my laptop now is an Acer and the build quality is horrible. I was on CPUBoss and it said the 6300HQ is about the same performance as a 7700U. Plus he quad core has HyperThreading, so that's even more power.

Don't trust CPU boss, of GPU boss for that matter. Those 2 are not even close. One is a full Quad Core i5 with 4 threads (slightly lower clocked but still a QC), and the other one is a ULV Dual Core with 4 threads (talking for those 2 lines in general). Also there is no 7700U.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Straight up the best answer Squeeze that to $800 1050 and it will be so much better overall and last longer and  also as an option $900 1050TI will get you 30% faster in games $100 is less then 15% more money performance to $ ratio is nice though since $800 is already over budget i wouldnt stress if you have to get the 1050 version.

There not amazing builds or anything but for your catagoy of best gaming for a budget cost you cant do better.

I so I'm spending $120 more to get a GTX 1050. But is the price-to-performance any higher? It's just an upgrade from a last gen GTX 950M to a 1050. I'm not convinced yet that getting a GTX 1050 laptop is a good idea. I'm also only getting 8GB or RAM where this one has 12GB. And the ideapad 700 has a 256gb ssd where the gtx 1050 laptops have 128gb ssd. Also, can you send me some links of the laptops?

Miss conception here nvidia changed how they put cards in laptops this year.  is the 950M is a Slow Mobile Version for laptops only the 950 Desktop card is faster by 30%.  two versions of the same name Just the M note at the end they no longer do this.  its more comparable to like a

The GTX 1050 in laptops are not Mobile there is no M it is a desktop GTX 1050 and desktop 1050 TI so while it sounds like its the same tier it is not since there the desktop class versions.

Performance wise

950M had 1.2 Tflops of performance  1050 has 1.8GTfops thats 50% faster    for $100 bucks

1050 TI has 2.1Tflops  thats about 80% faster then the 950M   for $200 bucks

970M had 2.35 Tflops

Thats not exactly how you look at real world performance but it gives a solid idea.

The GTX 1050 is about as good as the GTX 965M, and the GTX 1050 Ti is as good as the GTX 970M. NVIDIA's old naming scheme messes with their new naming scheme, however ultimately the GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti are really powerful laptop GPUs.

The Inspiron 7567 certainly has a nice GPU. However, I generally recommend against the model, due to its very poor quality TN-type FHD display.

If the upcoming Acer Aspire VX 15 uses an IPS display like it's been said to, I think it will be a much better option.
