Just realized when we cross the border, Americans always have bottles of milk, does Canada only sell bags of milk?

It's mostly an Ontarian thing, but a few other provinces also sell bags of milk. And yes, you can still buy jugs of milk (Mostly in Convenience Stores such as the Macs/Mikes Mart franchise).

Where's the logic in a bag of milk? Bags are for wine, that way you can peg it to the clothes line and play drinking games.....

The logic behind them is that it is cheaper to make the bags and you can just put them in a jug which can be reused.

It's more of an eastern thing. I was pretty surprised to find out that "milk in bags" was supposed to be a Canadian thing.

In Ontario, Canada, we buy 4L bags of milk. Now in this bag are 3 smaller bags that we then put in a jug, make a small insertion, and pour. But it's not re-seal able

I don't know the conversion, but milk where I am is about the same price as gas a gallon (anywhere from $3.00 to $4.00).
