I dont think anyone would recommend that one. Which else can you get? It would be worthwhile to spend 20-30$ more if you have to and get something better.

Personal build >  New-ish AMD main gaming setup

PLEASE QUOTE OR @ ME FOR A RESPONSE xD

i know that but he thinks he is wasting his money on desktop pc as he will buy any laptop in $515 (35000inr) which will do his think,i.e. playing all new games all rendering softwares

he is spending this $74 (5000inr) on mATX case and power supply as he has dell pre built system which dont have enough width for new power supplies

Then see if he can find a cheaper case. This PSU is the cheapest of decent quality I would go for

There is no quality PSU that isn't going to blow up under that price. End of discussion.

My Main Build: NZXT S340 - NZXT Kraken X31 - Crucial MX100 256GB - i5 4460 - Gigabyte Z97P D3 - Kingston HyperX Red 8GB - MSI Nvidia GTX 780 3GB - Corsair LL & HD RGB Fans, Corsair Lighting Node Pro.

The VS450 is pretty bad. Is an EVGA 450B a huge price step up?

Since that PSU isn't great, I'll give you some alternatives to look for.

Antec Basiq VP450 or VP500

Antec Earthwatts 380W or 430W

EVGA 450W B1

Corsair CX430

Also look for a used OEM unit that's made by Delta or Seasonic. You might find a good value there.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

I disliked them for myself, someone on a really strict budget might have no other option.

Antec Earthwatts 380W = not available

430W = 7209 inr ($105)

EVGA 450W B1 = not available

Corsair CX430 = 3700 inr ($54)

in INDIA here corsair vs 450 is available in 2500 inr ($37) and my friend thinks that he is paying premium for that and he is wasting his money

he will just take a laptop of 35000 inr ($515) and it will run all recent games, autocad, 3ds max, staad pro, revit architecture & ms project

Well there is only 700 inr between the corsair and the Antec, you should be able to pay that difference. Perhaps you're paying too much on some other component for the desktop.

It's not me i have corsair cx500 it's my friend

he thinks paying 2500 inr ($37) is premium for power supply

he has four plans in his head

Specifications of my friend's pc

g31 chipset motherboard

DDR2 800mhz 2gb

intel e7500 processor

mATX case and delta technologies power supply of 230W

FIRST PLAN

to change the delta technologies power supply of 230W for 3800 inr ($56) so it stays as it is

SECOND PLAN

Since his mATX case which was pre built by dell has don't have enough width so take a new case around 1500 inr ($22) and corsair vs 450 in 2500 inr ($37) total of 4000 inr ($59)

THIRD PLAN

including second plan and buy

MSI 110M motherboard = 4500 inr ($66)

ddr4 2133mhz 4gb ram = 2500 inr ($37)

intel g4600 processor = 5000 inr ($73.5)

and salvage 320gb hard disk with lg dvd writer from dell pre built syatem

FOURTH PLAN

just do nothing

The stock 230W PSU from Delta would work tbh
