Ryzen Liquid Stock Cooler?

I don't want to put this in news because it's just speculations, take it as such. from this video does anyone think AMD will make optional stock water coolers for Ryzen, like they did with the Wraith coolers?

Probably not, there will definitely be aftermarket ones.

AMD has put stock watercoolers on their FX 9000 lineup I think.

Not that it helped, they sucked. :P

Here's to the crazy ones...

The wraith coolers were air coolers.

Yes, they are. I meant "like the wraith coolers" because the wraith was an optional cooler, you could still get a stock cooler version for 10$ or so less

Hope not, it will drive up pricing and add nothing of value to the consumer. Most consumers probably don't want watercooling (aside from the enthusiasts)

It probably wouldn't be included in the budget line. I don't see how this would be driving up the price if it were an Optional add on

Amd will probably be boxing the Ryzen cpus with the Wraith cooler. If they boxed it with a water cooler it would add another 100 bucks to the price and perpetuate the idea that amd processors run too hot.

I don't think seeing an octa core with a water cooler is too far fetched, especially seeing as it would increase its turbo to accommodate the beefier cooling. Though I would only see this happening if there was another, cheaper option with the Wraith cooler.

I suppose it would be neat if AMD showed Intel a lesson about stock coolers once again and shipped Ryzen with great air coolers and the highest end ones considered the water cooling

They only did that last year with the Wraith cooler which is competitive with highly popular third party solutions in the 30 dollar price bracket.

i only know of stock watercoolers being a thing on the FX9590, because there it was kind of a necessity, i know a guy that has the stock watercooler on there... and it was still toasty AF xD

If they do release it with stock water coolers that would mean it has a thermal issue so......you might want to hope they don't, also odds are against this based on the TDP they will likely come with a new wraith style cooler.

If they do I hope it's entirely optional for an additional cost.  Lots of people already have their own watercooling systems if they're likely to use one at all.  It'd be a shame to have to buy their shitty watercooler just to get the cpu

You'd still have an option of an air cooler. its not like every single processor would be +100$. that's ridiculous. I probably shouldn't have said "liquid stock cooler" what I meant was something like the wraith cooler where it was a version you could purchase instead of the former stock cooler to get better thermals/acoustics if you preferred.
