I don't recommend the h100i as I have one but the pump often stops flowing. It is somewhat constrained in my phantom 240 which can be frustrating. everything else seems nice.

Been said but get a 1 Tb hard drive and spring for a SSD, you can always get more hard drive space later and the performance gain will be significant. Also your fine to save some money and get a good air CPU cooler unless you plan on overclocking.

I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself

Just because one pump stops flowing doesn't mean the product is defective.

And I recommend going with a hyper 212 and a 6600k.

A 7700 isn't really needed unless the OP plans on streaming or recording. A well overclocked I5 (Especially the 7000s since they tend to overclock well) will do just the same as an I7 in 99% of games.

If you stream though, I7 all the way

i'd say the same about a watercooler, and a 500GB SSD ;)

in the end its a matter of preference, but the 7700k comes faster out the box (even without counting ht), you can OC it as well (a slight oc should be possible on that air cooler), and in all honesty, my stock 4790k is still plenty for all games in my steam library. i'd just rather have OP spend his money on things that perform better out the box than on HUGE SSDs and less reliable coolers. (yes. i said it. watercoolers arent very reliable.)

I'm not even going to look at your build... because the answer is ALWAYS: rebuild.  If you are making a good purchase when it comes to your GPU it should give you decent performance until it's time to upgrade the whole system, the only time I recommend upgrading "half-cycle" is when you bought a much cheaper GPU with the intent of replacing it twice as often.  IE: you're building a new system every 4~ years and you plan to buy a GPU every 2 years, but that needs to be the plan from the start if you want to maintain decent value/performance (IMO).

HUGE SSDs

Because being able to store most of your games (Or all) in an SSD instead of an HDD is bad these days. But those 5 extra FPS from an I7, oh god gotta have those 5 extra fps.

for most games.. storing them on an SSD is essentially worthless other than taking 5 seconds less to load up... and then you're waiting for all the people in your game still loading off their hard drive.
