34" 1440p is what you'll want if you're trying to get away with using a single ultra wide

But generally there are 27" 4k IPS displays for less which have free-sync that'll get your more pixels for less money, although you'll need scaling for 27"

34" @ 1080p wont be a great experience IMO. You would really want to go for the 28" @1080p or save up for one at 1440p.

i personally would get 29 inches, unless you need that extra 5 inches. or you can buy the 34 inch now and not need to upgrade in a long time.

They are basically the same monitor, one is just bigger. So which one should you take? Depends on how far away you sit from your desk.
