GTX 1050 TI Slightly Bent

flameprincess2000

I had a 1050 TI sitting on my computer... and it kinda fell off, and the pcie board's top right corner bent a bit, and I bent it back carefully.

It couldn't have broke, right?

It'll probably be fine, my old 750Ti was bent. A picture could help

It's in the box, and I don't want to get it out unless I have to.

It was only slightly bent.

I would like to see what the board looks like, and the surrounding components. But if you're confident that it's fine, then alright.

I haven't tested it.

Just test it first before you worry, or you could have it replaced (maybe) :P

You can bark like a dog, but that won't make you a dog.

You can act like someone you're not, but that won't change who you are.

Finished Crysis without a discrete GPU,15 FPS average, and a lot of heart

How I plan my builds -

Spoiler

For me I start with the "There's no way I'm not gonna spend $1,000 on a system."

Followed by the "Wow I need to buy the OS for a $100!?"

Then "Let's start with the 'best budget GPU' and 'best budget CPU' that actually fits what I think is my budget."

Realizing my budget is a lot less, I work my way to "I think these new games will run on a cheap ass CPU."

Then end with "The new parts launching next year is probably gonna be better and faster for the same price so I'll just buy next year."

The board looks okay, but did you loosen the screws that mount the heatsink to the GPU? They don't look fully tightened.

Okay. I'd also be careful because the one screw has a stick over it, which I assume is EVGA's warranty sticker. It's tearing, and if that completely tears(and it might, considering a tear was already started), your warranty might be voided.

Tested, and it works!
