Just curious.... why do you need to change from 6700k? If gaming is what you are doing you aren't going to be gaining anything and you will rarely notice a difference anywhere else either other than in the most limited occasions in extremely multi-threaded heavy applications.

Do you have a reason for upgrading? X99 isn't worth it imo...

I think you'll be pretty disappointed. You might shave :30 seconds off a 5 minute render. I caught my GA-X99M Gaming 5 on sale for like $100 back when it was normally ~$250.

A new desk, chair, keyboard, mouse, monitors (speakers), monitor (display), another GPU, faster storage, etc.... lots of other places to spend good cash better.

Sounds like a good setup, was just tossing out ideas. You have a set of studio monitors for audio?

Can't go wrong with a set of JBLs.

You might benefit more from faster storage than anything if you are doing lots of video and file transfers... you could pick up one of the new Samsungs.
