Is 500w psu enough for gtx 770?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

More than enough. Even 450W would do.

I am looking at putting a gtx 770 in my new rig but I only have a 500w psu. The outervision psu calculator says the system will only use 351w of power under load but still recommends a 600w power supply. Is 500w enough? Here are the specs of the rest of my system:

i3 6100

gigabyte h110m-s2h

2 x 4gb 2133MHz ddr4 hyper x fury

cooler master b500 psu

WD blue 1TB 7200rpm hard drive

The B500 isn't a super fantastic PSU but you'll probably be fine. 500W is plenty.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.

My system: PCPartPicker || For Corsair support tag @Corsair Josephor @Corsair Nick || My 5MT Legacy GT Wagon ||

I'm paying £90. I'm only getting the 2gb version but this still seems like a good deal considering it will beat the rx 460 in most games.
