hdmi Can i use a xbox 360 HDMI cable in a PC?

Both ends can fit to the gpu and the Tv however i didnt try to use it.Is it safe to use a xbox 360  HDMI cable on pc? Are they the same as normal HDMI cables?

An HDMI is an HDMI. So It will work with anything HDMI.

HDMI cables are HDMI cables. There's nothing special about the one that comes with the Xbox 360

The one that comes with the Xbox is black though.

The only types of HDMI cables are category 1 and category 2. Category 1 are fairly old and rare, everything modern will be a category 2 cable. 

 

If you happen to have a category 1 cable, it will likely max out at 1080i. Everything else is category 2 (including HDMI 2.0, it uses the existing category 2 cables)

HDMI cables are HDMI cables, they are all the same, just some look fancier than other ones.

I am fairly sure you won't have any issue, the recent HDMI cables are all the same... I mean you won't break it just by trying it out so plug it all in and see if it works, if it does then you literally have nothing else to worry about
