Performance Per Liter Through The Ages

Thanks to ORIGIN PC and Intel for sponsoring this video! Learn more about ORIGIN PC's Black Friday deals at http://www.originpc.com/?aid=2455

When we saw just how much power ORIGIN was able to fit inside their tiny Chronos chassis, we wanted to figure out just how far SFF PCs have come in the last ten years...

@nicklmg, @LinusTech, @Slick

Nothing super major but @ 2:37, the text showing the years of each case doesn't match the corresponding config. The corsair C70 and NZXT H440 are swapped the H440 being the 2013 build not the 2010 build

So it took Origin this many years to rip off the FalconNW Tiki...

Thin profile 120mm fans are useless, as is that radiator, for cooling and overclocking. If you really want a killer mITX box I'd be looking at a CaseLabs S3 or NOVA with a pedestal underneath and use a chunky 240 rad in push-pull with some proper custom water cooling on both the CPU and GPU.

Building inside a case the size of a cereal box is just as silly as those uber thin laptops - limited expandability, pathetic cooling, no chance of a real overclock and a compromise in usability and features. If you only have room to fit a box of corn flakes in your gaming or workspace, you've got other issues IMO.

You should have taken the EN1080 from Zotac and compare it with the Chronos.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

Horrible comparison. Doing a perf/watt metric then comparing a super sff cake with mid towers. Compare it with the equivalent of their age.

Looking at nvidia's 8800GTX website it says " The wait is over. Awesome power. Awesome price. " Wheres that awesome price now? the 1080 is ludicrously expensive not to mention the titans as well.
