Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

I had some fun with overclocking my Laptop GPU. Standard clocks are 500MHz Core and 900MHz Memory. The only limiting factor so far seem to be my CPU temps, they reach 86°C during Valley...

I've got alot of benching to do still. I need to redo the HD 6950, I got my hands back on my old GTX 650ti Boost that I gave my friend, GT 630 (that 4GB Zotac POS), and my 770's.

i5 2450m -  hd3000

it says amd hd7500m/7600m and if it was hd3000 it would be incredibly fast compared with hd4600.

It should be the radeon 7600M, based on the 128bit bus width instead of 64bit on the 7500m. My Card also uses GDDR3 instead of GDDR5.

Was going to bench a 4870 crossfire setup in spare rig to compare the solo 4870 and a 4870/4850 crossfire...

Unfortunately my 550w psu was not up to the task... once loaded up it crashed and wouldn't detect the second card on reboot... hopefully no permanent damage.

Maybe one day with the right board / psu ill do a 4870/4870/4850 tri-fire run. Giggedy

Wonder how it would stack against my single HD 5870 considering Crossfire scaling.  :P

If I ever find a beefier psu ill test it for the giggles... I have 8x650watt PSU's sitting here but they are all for 1U rack servers... proprietary plugs :-(

You don't have any other PSU's laying around? You could always rig up another 400-500w PSU outside of the case connected to cards 2 + 3 to power them separately. You can just do the close hanger method to turn the secondary PSU on before turning the main machine on. Then the load will be split up between two different PSU's.  :)

I do have one other but its from an OEM HP machine and its only 260watts with no molex or pcie... sold my other PSU's...

I doubt it would power one card haha

Really wanted to beat that cf but ran out of time. I don't know why but it does help to keep the core under 45c, doing that I can run higher core but it heats up to 46c right before the end causing it to crash. Can't get anymore out of the memory though, adding 10mhz to memory actually made it go up 3 points but causes the driver to start crashing and only work every 3rd or 4th time. Need to get a water cooling setup for this then sli.

Cpu: AMD 245 @ 3.48

average: 42.1

I got 60fps out of my r9 290 - was clocked a little higher but I suspect that CPU is a bottleneck

83.2 on my 980 is the best I have managed - Are you able to do a run at 4k with those settings?

I will give it a shot in a bit. I will do stock setting first, since I was able to dsr bf4 at 4k with 30-50fps at medium.

Well didn't have time to oc but normal settings I average 30fps at 4k. I would imagine in the end being somewhere around 40ish.

*Edit*

`Nvm, didn't see we had to have AA enabled, a little weird considering it's 4k and nobody would need AA at that resolution, but whatever`

Well here is a 4k bench. I understand why we need to enable AA although it was very painful to watch such choppy frames. I do believe that at 4k nobody is going to be playing with AA enabled, maybe we can get a different tab for that or something of the sorts for results without AA? I am sure some but not all of the choppiness is due to the instability in overclocking.
