Your GPU is probably being taxed harder than before on the Valley benchmark. This one actually maintains 100% usage throughout the entire test where Valley did not.

I agree the High preset would probably work better now (especially for people with lower end setups), but down the line when everything is much more powerful it's going to end up like Valley: ie super easy to run and now a CPU bench. If we start now with the most difficult settings the benchmark and results stay relevant for longer.

That's also why I think the 4K preset is useless. It's easier than the 1080p Extreme and really serves no purpose. If we follow the presets that are available (which is a lot less complicated to do), the 1080p Extreme and 8K Optimized are the best 2 options. At least the 8K one is harder to run than 1080p Extreme.

the beta release i was testing last week offered different res presets which were working correctly , not sure what happened but its gone tits up in the official rlease , unigine are aware and working on patch . also worth noting , bench is very stable so can push higher clocks , which is great for maxwell owners not so much for the pascal 10 series thats voltage locked , new titan doing very well in the bench , faaaaaar better than xp or 1080ti  , pascal refresh across the range due this year , nvidias milking pascal totally before volta makes it all obsolete lol

Interesting. Did the 1080p Extreme preset change since the beta? Mostly concerned with this one as it's where everyone has been submitting scores and I'd hate to have to scrap it if they push an update to the bench that changes it.

Super happy with my Titan Xp too. I can finally push 60+ fps on 3440x1440 in pretty much every game and I get fast sync :D

yes it did change , the 1080p extreme  preset was the 4k optimized in the beta , there was an ultra which i assume was the true 1080p preset , 4k medium  and 8k low , all of which were more taxing on gpu and created a lower score

Squeezed every last drop of power I could out of this system but the thermal limits of GPU boost 3.0 have screwed me. I'd likely need to get a EVGA Hybrid kit to push this any further.

GPU OC'd to 2050 on the core 5620 or so on the memory. CPU was OC'd to 4.7Ghz

Ran it with my 1070 at 2126MHz dropped to 2100MHZ on scene 16/17. cpu is actually at 4.3GHz, my 1080 ti strix oc showed up before my new system was ready so swapped out the 1070 and ran it for fun only changed the power and temp targets with an aggresive fan curve. will have new results once new system is fully up and running.

And in those new results have GPU-Z open as well.

Joining the club with 980 and 6700K. I would say it's not that bad for 980.

For whatever reason, Superposition isn't utilizing my crossfire. While running, only GPU 1 is being used. I've tried playing around with the crossfire settings, but haven't fixed it yet. If anyone knows a trick, let me know:

I haven't OC'd my 1700x yet, nor have I been able to get my RAM to 2933 yet either. Still working out some of the kinds since my upgrade.
