Sapphire R9 290X Tri-X. I've noticed I'm #118 on the scoreboard so I decided it's time to push it to the limit and be at least in top 100. After some fiddling with the card, I was able to achieve my goal of reaching 70 fps.

Ohai, I think I might want to wait until it is a bit colder... My memory can make valley become the 4th of July... Anyway, it really could use a bit colder of weather, preferably water since it wants it, but you know, I don't have that money... If anything, I'd get rid of the Xeon for a i7. :P I'm impressed with this card so far, lets hope I can break 3100 with a Xeon and this 970 with its decent scaling.

 Nop It was a solid card, I sold it since I wanted to upgrade to the fury. When the Fury X came out I wasnt too impressed with the initial performance. I found this two 970s for a REALLY cheap price and Im just using them for now.

i see aren't they a bit slower than the 295x2?

 They are actually very close in performance. At 1080p and max OC they might edge out the 295x, and at 5760x1080 its a toss up. thats with the 970s running at 1500mhz+, at stock speeds the 295x2 is a little faster.

Well seeing I'm not old enough to move out and my brother is asleep.... :P

i live in florida with a roomate from russia... he can't have the room higher than 65f.... i have blankets all over the house. ( ͡°╭͜ʖ╮͡° )

when i get a house i am going to just have all the rooms turned into an industrial walk in freezer.

ha ha, i have both my 970 folding 24/7 so its always warm in my room :( in winter when i get my room down to around 12c i can turn on the 7970 as well so i dont die of hypothermia in the night :)
