Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

Yours only hits 1470? Huh. You have other 980TI's, what do those do?

Here's my submission. 1592 stable @ 1.23V... but if I put the top lid on my 250D the temperature increases by ~20C and it's not stable. Yay Mini-ITX.  :P

I think all the things I'm running in the background + the latest Let's Play Minecraft on my U2414 on the left that I cropped out kind of hampered my score. I'll run it tomorrow at some point with only the one monitor plugged in and nothing else going. Much too lazy to do all the tweaks mention in OP though.

Why is the GPU clock shown in Unigen way too high, while the memory clock is way too low? Is that some sort of glitch? I'd assume that my GPU-Z and PX would be the right values.

1592mhz is impressive. Are you running the stock bios?

Yeah. Tempted to flash it with one of the rips on OCN. I don't really feel like the chance of harm, though. I'd rather keep my card safe.

EDIT: Oooh, found my issue with the memory clock being too low. If you change your OC and run another test in Unigen without exiting it doesn't update the clocks. Interesting. So you could start it with no OC, turn on the OC, and then confuse everyone by getting a high score without the values for your core being that high. ;)

Would you really notice the difference in performance though? Or would upping your unigen score be the only difference? ;)

Did the new driver do anything for you? I want to try it, been using 353.30 without issues. I don't think you'd see a huge difference between 1470 and lets say 1570. I mean, if you put the card on water, i'm sure you could get it farther but that's more $$. Also, custom BIOS are really helpful for water or not.

353.38 has been fine for me, so I saw no reason to change it. I have no desire to put money into a water cooling system but I damn well think a 1570 clock would show a big improvement over a 1470 as going from stock clock to 1470 you see the difference already

Well yeah jumping 400-500 mhz vs stock is huge difference compared to 100mhz. W.e, you could just keep getting new cards til you get a decent one. Depends on luck more than brand usually.

Conveniently enough, I have some screens for you. Here's the difference in score between my stock, 1.5, and 1.55 clocks. My 1.6 OC failed because my room is currently 89F. I'll run it again once my room cools down to 80F. :)

As you can see, it's a pretty large difference. And lol @ my crashed driver at 1.6. Just tried and it'll still run Bioshock Infinite and Skyrim, it just can't do a benchmark with these ambients. :P

DFW, Texas. I only use the AC from 6PM-6AM or so. I just open the windows during the day. Sadly, when it's 95-105F outside...
