Hi,

I'm on a computer, logged in and I want to know its password. How can I do that? I'm registered, admin and everything.

You don't even need to be logged in (or have any rights on the PC) to get (or reset) the password.  All you need is a Windows boot disc.  But I'll leave it up to you to search for instructions.

Reseting password is simple, but getting it ... that's tricker.

I mannaged to reset password on some PCs, but never able to get password in plain text.

I've never actually tried to get the password.  Usually I don't care what it was and just want to reset it.  From a computing security point of view, it's unfortunate that so many people think a Windows password actually gives them any sort of reasonable security.

I can 100% agree with you.

Luckily there is bitlock, that I'm not sure if anyone is able to bypass it.

If there is indeed a backdoor in bitlocker as some say, then it can certainly be bypassed by those that know about it.  (Looking at you NSA)

No, don't get me wrong. My friend changed my password (he knows it, apparently). But I don't know his password, so if I would found out, and it will match with the one his PC, I will be able to get some sort of revenge ?.

Not that I can fully approve of this, but you can change the password on his PC without having to know the current password.  Assuming of course he hasn't set a bios password or is using some sort of full disk encryption.
