BenQ XL2420TE - where to buy

Let me just start by saying I've never been much of a fan of gaming monitors. They've oftentimes in the past been otherwise completely unexceptional monitors with a cool colour scheme and some skin-deep "collaboration" with a pro gamer, which basically amounted to slapping a sticker on the box and giving the aforementioned pro a few bucks for the privilege.

Not the case with this one. No, it's still not an IPS monitor with respect to colour reproduction, but it's also not an eyesore like every other 120Hz or 144Hz monitor I've used before. If you want "dem fast refreshes" and you don't want to wait for something with G-Sync support, this is it, folks.

Man, if Nvidia gave this a G-Sync upgrade kit this would be perfect. Unfortunately thats the only thing stopping me from picking this up.

Price is a bit high for average gamer. Anyone else hoping for cheap G-sync? With both amd and nvidia. Lets hope.

Linus, you really should try one of those (perfect pixel) Korean PLS Qnix 1440p monitors. See if you can successfully overclock one to 120Hz like I have. ;)

my biggest question... will this have a G-sync upgrade kit like the current ASUS 24 inch monitor.... I think benq would be stupid if they didnt let existing monitors be upgradeable. Only one announced so far is ASUS model though... building a new comp soon but worried about that one.
