Hey everyone!

Some motherboard spec sheets say that they have a Z170 express chipset whilst others just say Z170.

I did a quick google search and found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

They're the same, Z170 Express is just the full name of the chipset.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Maybe one has sata express and the other doesn't?

It shouldn't matter since sata express is literally useless.
