Is Linus Itching?

teleprompter, not an itch, might be both but its most likely the remote

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Couldn't such a thing be operated by a floor button, rather than having to keep moving one's hand?

 

Maybe he just has unusually muscular thighs for a man his size and he can't keep his hands off himself.

the remote is handheld, and moding it for foot operation is probably not the easiest thing in the world and probably also unneccisairy seeing as this works fine

This is Linus we are talking about here. Technology wizard supreme.

Linus needs to hire an intern to help with the teleprompter.

well to mod it to foot control would be easy if its just one button that needs to be pressed, then you just take a nail and a board and put the nail through the board and then put that on the remotes button on the floor lol

Why would he have an employee help with that? The whole point of the teleprompter remote is so that LINUS can control where he is. He can pause, go back, slow down, speed up, etc, as needed.

 

Having someone else in control would make little sense, as that means they'd have to guess if Linus needed to slow down or speed up, and it would cause delays and more reshoots.

 

This system works perfectly. No need for a foot control or anything else.

Yes, you can buy floor pedals, but I think there are compatibility issues with the tablet they use - Android is pretty poor as a prompter. I've seen one of the camera guys complain about it before.

I know they make teleprompters that go off your head movement. You tilt your head down a bit and it scrolls
