I'll skip on the Hue+

Besides I'm good with the fans I normally get, BeQuiet and Noctua.

So why are you bitching about RGB fans you don't use then?

Or you can get a $10 RGB strip and have enough for your case, your desk, behind your bed frame and still have some spare if a few go out.

True... but I'm a slave to the spectrum wave.  The Thermaltake Riing I already have comes close, but I need THAT. :D

NZXT made RGB fans? 29$ each? I think there's a cheaper solution

huehuehueheuhue

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

That's not what those cost. Each HD120 RGB is $29.99 each, $49.99 w/controller or $89.99 for three fans and controller. I think the link above is the fan w/controller SKU.

SP120 RGB fans are $19.99/29.99/69.99 respectively for the same SKUs.

Please... can we just please get some nice looking fans that are super effective and quiet at a reasonable price, instead of all this seizure inducing blingy club crap?

Be Quiet's Silent Wing series, Corsair AF and SPs, some of Fractal's fans, Cooler Master JetFlow, BitFenix Spectre Pro, and so on. There are plenty of great fans out there that aren't RGP, but you better be prepared to pay $15-$30 (not sure about prices where you live, but likely not cheap) a piece for them. Also you will likely have to buy a lot of them from watercooling and more enthusiast focused etailers, Since you're in Denmark I'd recommend Aquatuning. They have a decent selection of fans.

Tell me about it, I have 3 Fractal Venturi fans. Not exactly cheap. They weigh a lot for a fan though. Point is enough with all this RGB garbage. We are going back to the early 00's in terms of tacky bling modding.

Yes! Give us an ultra compact S340 for mATX and one for ITX, I said this on their FB page months ago and got this retarded reply from the page: "The S340 already supports mATX and ITX motherboards."

I was hoping the manta would be a mATX case. Hopefully they've got something in the works

You could easily fit mATX in that case if they hadn't tried to abstract the internals.

I don't think it would look very good at any smaller size

I don't know, as taboo as RGB may, I really like the ways these look and my color preference changes with my mood, plus the way my setup is I don't actually have to look at the case all the time so it wouldn't get annoying or anything. I had originally set out for a black/orange build and have SEVEN of the LTT Noctua fans (6x120mm and 1x140mm) but am thinking about getting rid of both the NZXT orange/black case and the fans to instead purchase a plain black H440 and some of these things... hmm. Given that I've already got that cash tied up in case fans (lol) the cost really wouldn't be too hard to justify at this point.
