Would have been cool if you could remove the cable from the earpods and then use them as wireless earphones when you want to.

It kind of looked like that's what they were going for, what with that huge thing sticking out the bottom of the airpods. Then the engineering team just said "F*** it, whatever." halfway through. lol

They did say that the AirPods can measure vibration from the speaker's voice though, not so sure about that
