HP's OMEN X VR PC Pack, is now available for developers who are interested in designing VR related games and applications. The machine, comes equipped with the latest Intel mobile processors, discrete graphics, and dual battery packs. The dual battery packs when fully charged, provides up to 1 hour of run time, giving users true mobile VR experience, as they can move as much as they want, without being limited by the distances of cables, compare to other VR solutions. The battery can also be hot swap by a 3rd one, giving more time to play, while the depleted one gets recharged. On the port side, it has 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB-C, HDMI, combo audio jack, and a DC jack. Yeah not practical when you are in VR you tend to stay there for 4+ hours. Again if batteries were better every problem ever would be solved.

No PC VR headset even has inside out tracking, so you're still going to be confined to your sensors range/fov.

 

This product isn't solving any problems imo, unless they can fit that entire backpack into a pair of sunglasses.
