help i need urgent help serious fps drops after a solution that fixed other games

HI,

I recently just bought a new pc that I bought believing that I would be able to run games effortlessly. Unfortunately this is not the case, In most games I get fps drops all the time.

The games with  issues

Black ops 3

The reason why this seems really usual because; A) my pc meet the recommended requirements b) My cpu temp is at 25 - 31 ( never goes over)  full load  .

My specs

i5 4460

GTX 970

16gb ram

1tb hdd

h55 cooler (closed loop)

700 w (Aerocool psu ) Was cheap tho

corsair spec 01

What I have tried to resolve this problem

DDU ( Uninstall and re-install drivers)

Clean install of windows 8 times ( not windows 8) I've actually tried 8 times xD

registry scan

re-applied thermal paste

rebuilt my pc

updated bios

de frag drives

update drivers

Any help shall be noted and appreciated.

(this is edited because i found solutions for the other games that were originally on this page)

What resolution are you at?

"Hmmm, this is for sure the type of music you listen to,  if you want to lose friends."

'That last one' ??

Also i think the issue is the CPU, it might not be 'bad' but it could be better, and may be the issue you are facing. Unfortunately I have no experience of the performance of Blops3 so I cant speak for that games optimization.

Hmm, yeah I think it will just be Blops3 not liking your CPU, online it looks like it doesn't have the best performance on systems far greater than yours

Well the 8350 has more cores so may perform better in this situation, however 'lag' might be due to network speed

your i5 is just fine and a 700w psu is also Geeb is not giving good information. you should be getting max FPS on high setting almost all the time.  So what kinds of frames are you seeing?

It looks like toy are running at what that card can handle at stock speeds and it is dropping frames during graphically intense areas. but you should be really overclocking that card you will get more performance and that my solve your issue.

also what setting are you running on?

Have you tried running something like 3d mark to see what your scores are?

also have you tried it in other games?

oh ive got the graphs

Graphs aren't helpful if I can't see the memory usage.. It also seems like your GPU isn't being used as much as it can either, your cpu might be holding it back.
