Mineral Oil PC (55 Gallon Tank) Mark 1 - Leviathan

BlackJacket

So let me introduce you to my Mineral Oil PC build: Mark 1 - Leviathan. This have been in the works for about 4 months now, I'm taking my time for this, gathering the mineral oil steadily and going to chase sale of computer parts. Mark 1 will be a Red and Black theme based build. I plan on submerging the SSDs in the mineral oil but not the Hard Disk Drives, in fact I'm planning on put the HDDs on a shelves above the tank so there is no way of the mineral oil reaching the drives. I know Mineral oil have a tendency of stiffing up cables, so I am planning on using 1-3 FT extension cables for almost everything. For now this is a single PC build, but later on this year I might add another PC to the aquarium.

For the last few months I've been stockpiling mineral oil from Walmart and Target. At the moment I have ~340 out of 440 Bottles, I've recently acquired a brand new 55 Gallon Tank for $55, and I'm in the process of ordering the computer parts I need such as:

My next build I will start in 8 Months:

The Mark II - Abomination, will be a bit more over kill. A different color for each GPU and CPU; Dark Red, Dark Blue, Dark Green, Dark Orange, and Black. This build will be purely eye candy at my business

Good start I guess. That would definitely keep me up at night. Not to mention cleaning the damn thing if a part failed.
