Probably just another slight variation of a sleeve bearing but marketed to avoid being called that. :P

OCUK is selling them for 175 pounds https://www.overclockers.co.uk/in-win-c900-classic-series-900w-80-plus-platinum-modular-power-supply-ca-07b-iw.html

which isn't something really amazing, considering Corsair HX/AX and EVGA P2 850w goes around 130-160

AX/HX has 7-10 year of warranty http://www.corsair.com/en-us/support/warranty

InWin also has a 7 year warranty https://www.in-win.com/en/warranty

And EVGA comes with full 10 year https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-P2-0850-X1

So not sure.

To my understanding, they are part of the sleeved bearing family but are self-lubricating like FDB, HDB, etc. That's ADDA take on the bearing to get by the patent on FDB fans.

Is there anyway differentiating the 2017 and the older ones? I don't know if the CX in Corsair site is 2017 version or not

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/cx-series-cx450-450-watt-80-plus-bronze-certified-atx-psu-na

has same model name with pcpp

and I can't find older CX (non 2017) on PCPP anymore

You can tell the difference between the older CX from whether or not it has the grey label as well. Think of the new 2017 CX series as the non-modular version of the new grey CXM in that regard.

I'm a little confused by your question. What was true for the original CX400? The older CX400 was double forward+group regulation: Seasonic ET platform. The non-modular, grey CX*50  is LLC Resonant + DC-DC whose platform manufacturing capability is split 50/50 between CWT and Great Wall.

Edit: Forgot to edit out the "(I'm not sure about the" part of that reply.

The new CX400 is based on the Enhance platform. But is the CX450 also on that or is it just the CWT same as the CX450M?

There's a new Enhance build CX400? Because the one I'm talking about is the non-modular CX450-750 (2017 Edition) had started to be sold in March - two months ago.

Edit: For further verification on the new non-modular: http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showthread.php?p=138929

On the second post, Jonny stated that the Riotoro Onyx 650 is "the same as the Corsair CX (non-M)". The review shows a Great Wall unit.

Did they introduce a new CX400 at Computex that I'm aren't aware of?

New CX line that was announced at Computex? I don't believe there was one. The most recent PSU models we launched are the TXM gold and the HX platinum.
