It is Not a time bomb dude, it's just even if it doesn't explode (good thing) just replace it with a better one (who doesn't have money after 1 year?)

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Note 10, S10, Samsung becomes Apple, Zen 2, 3700X, Renegade X lol

Yes, but don't use that.

Get something like EVGA B3, SeaSonic M12II or Corsair CXM (grey model)

The old CX's exploits have been quite over exaggerated.

Which, again, implies you haven't spent any money yet. Which then implies you don't have anything bought yet.

? I never said buy the CX, just simply their tales of causing blazing infernos is quite exaggerated. They're nothing you should put with such high level hardware, but certainly nothing like the firebombs you can find sometimes.

For my next build, I'm getting a better PSU than my EVGA 600B, and I also want it to be fully modular.

Now the current PSU I have, according to the list, is a tier 4 PSU.  I was looking at both the Roswill Photon 650W PSU and this:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jnRFf7/thermaltake-smart-pro-rgb-650w-80-bronze-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ps-spr-0650fpcbus-r

Which is currently on sale on Newegg, it's the Smart-Pro RGB, which is apparently also a Tier 3 PSU.  Should I jump on the Thermaltake PSU since it's currently on sale?

Oh, I was also looking at a 650W EVGA B3, which is also apparently tier 3.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

@Energycore is a Semi-Modular PSU with big wattage (650W-750W) 80+ Gold good for average people?
