Thermaltake Unveils RGB LED PSU

It comes parts as their Toughpower DPS G line of PSUs, and is available in a 850W (http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Power_Supply/Toughpower_Series_/Toughpower_DPS_G/C_00002917/Toughpower_DPS_G_RGB_850W_Gold_/design.htm) and 750W (http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Power_Supply/Toughpower_Series_/Toughpower_DPS_G/C_00002916/Toughpower_DPS_G_RGB_750W_Gold_/design.htm) version.  I think that this is a very weird move by Thermaltake, because many people do not even see their PSU inside of their case.

Exactly.  Thats what happens in my Noctis 450.  What is also weird is that it appears that it is on the fan, so if you mount it fan side down, you will not notice anything.

They do have the thermaltake p5.

It could work as underglow.

After getting my Asus Deluxe X99 II with RGB on it. I will say I like the under glow on the PCH and the sound card area but the PCIE slot LEDs are too much. Just a soft under glow is nice not RGB flashing death unicorn vomit with sprinkles

Dell was having a $600 off sale for the fully specced out model, so I decided to get it :P

Fully specced out early 2013 Macbook "pro" with gt 650m and constant 105c temperature on the CPU (GPU is 80-90C) when doing anything intensive...

A 2013 laptop with a regular sized battery still has better battery life than a 2017 laptop with a massive battery! I think this is a testament to apple's ability at making laptops, or maybe how little CPU technology has improved even 4+ years later (at least, until the recent introduction of 15W 4 core CPUs). Anyway, I'm never going to get a 35W CPU laptop again unless battery technology becomes ~5x better than as it is in 2018.

Apple knows how to make proper consumer-grade laptops (they don't know how to make pro laptops though). I guess this mostly software power efficiency related, but getting a mac makes perfect sense if you want a portable/powerful laptop that can do anything you want it to with great battery life.

They are plenty bright I just wish the light was more spread out rather then a harsh point. I do like the colors though. It compliments my AIO colors, RAM colors, GPU colors, and out side case colors. It just looks nice.

these have been around for a while. they're not new.

this however, i'm glad i bought when i did, its now sold out. finding a pure white PSU these days is extremely difficult.

Well, for those being "why RGB on everything" clearly to have option to put any color of course. I mean, I personally prefer white light on everything, it's neutral.

But yeah, nice everything haves RGB option now :)

Case, PSU, mobo, RAM, CPU AiO cooler, GPU, SSD, KB and mouse, even mouse pad. Also I've see monitors with underglow, backglow.
