Benchmarks weren't that fair.. I mean they compared a dual gpu which cost 550$ to a single card gpu from nvidia which cost like 400$ hahahah. But yeah ati are were more badass than amd :P

wait a damn minute didn't AMD buy ATI in 2006 and the hd 4870 was released in 2008? yes it was still branded ati (actually the last) but it was an AMD card

I5 4590 @ 4.0ghz (on a intel stock cooler runs nice and warm, 74c underload) 20gb ram, 2 480gb ssd, Rx 480 8gb(Soon to be 2 PowerColor Devils) 3tb seagate hdd, case well lets call it and open airbed

No, only the 5000 series were built by AMD, as you could see it all went down hill, weak ass performance in DX11, but for the time put a stink up Nvidia :P

Actually i'm wrong, AMD developed RV700.

AMD didn't remove "ATI" from the branding until a few years or so into the deal.

Even the famous Radeon HD 5870 carried the "ATI" branding.

That is also in my top best GPUs ever made.

If I remember correctly, with Ati designed GPU you had far less power consumption when using the video decoder than AMD does with their current architectures. I mean come on, my laptop's MR HD5650 is put under very light loads and consumes well under 15W while being in its lowest power state, will the 200 series for example saw them using well over 30W, and sometimes closer to 50W while using the video decoder.

Look I'm not saying who was/is better making graphic cards, i am just pointing out facts HD 4870 was an AMD card and a different architecture if you want a proper ATI/AMD comparison go back to 2006 cards

Both of you are nuts, the 8800 GT 512MB and the 8800 GTS 512MB were both the last best consumer cards ever. $250-$300 and flag  ship card performance to boot.

Robin Williams > Tom Hanks

Honestly I liked the films that Tom Hanks starred in way more. Things like Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Cast Away, Apollo 13, The Green Mile, great stuff. The only one I liked with Robin Williams was probably Jumanji.

It's now called RTG but whatever...

Nobody seems to care about that!

The reason amd cards get at least decent driver updates now is thanks to RTG and maybe we see more nice things from them, who knows.
