hang on, "titan"-C800, real titan=£1000, r9-290=$699 (£699).

so how is this going to make amd lower thier prices? its already cheaper, you could almost buy 2x r9-290s for the same price

More competition between Nvidia and AMD, which means more card in less time. isn't that good for both of us, doesn't it?

You can however coming out and just posting something like what you did isn't a good idea. Think of it this way, it's like me coming out and saying "AMD's next CPU launches in Q2 of 2014 and is clocked at 6Ghz" - I haven't liked any other sources even if they may be rumours.

Not that, the one OP speculating is a full fledged GK110 with 2880 cores (2688 in Titan) but that turns out will be rebadge as GK180 and use on Nvidia upcoming Tesla K40 codename Atlas.

I just love how everyone demands sources now that something bad might be happening to AMD, but all the bullshit rumors about Nvidia bribing Origin doesn't require any source at all.

Anyway like I always say, never trust "leaked" benchmarks for unreleased hardware. As far as I know, nothing has been confirmed about the new Titan, nor the 290X so you're comparing rumors about a a GPU we know nothing about vs rumors about a GPU we know next to nothing about.
