No it's not.
1T setting is available in ASUS nForce chipset Intel boards, and DDR3 boards.

I need to get one of those, because my P5 Deluxe is extremely picky with the RAM that it gets used with, and DDR3 is cheaper to replace than DDR2. And the funny thing is, all of my old Slot 1 and Socket 370 motherboards (Intel 440BX, 440LX, 440ZX, Via Apollo, Via Apollo Pro) are no where near as fussy when it comes to choosing RAM for them-even 32MB PC66 sticks run fine when paired with 512MB PC133 sticks on the Via chipsets (the Intel based boards are limited to 128MB sticks max).

Woot. Cut contact B21(using tape was too difficult) on the Celeron 333A which I've installed my aftermarket Slot 1 cooler on. And I've got it running at 500MHz!!!!! I'm going to be doing some benchmark runs in comparison to a stock 333A. This is all on an Intel SE440BX-2 which isn't supposed to allow overclocking, meaning that as long as the motherboard detects the right voltage (up to 3.8V on the SE440BX-2), I effectively have a Pentium II 500.

 

It seems that I'll have to get a better cooler before benchmarking-the current one only handles a Celeron 450 at 2V with good thermal paste (on the plus side, its fan is silent unlike stock ones), and a better cooler for my Klmath Pentium II (it has an unlocked multiplier, so that+the voltage settings combined with contact B21 should net some nice overclocks).

Well at work we got HP Z640 workstation today and I noticed that it have 8 core CPU inside.

It's E5 2620 v4.

Clock speed was 2,3GHz with all cores active.

It can boost up to 3GHz, but only with 2 cores, so sadly results aren't that great.

But it makes me happy that my i7 4790k can kinda compete with that 8 core CPU  

Since this is HP workstation there aren't any options to overclock in BIOS. Tried Intel Extreme Utility and I can't overclock anything there either. Not surprised since it's Xeon chip.

And if I'm not mistaken I'm the first one to post score of this CPU

 

Hope I did everything right, because I can't do test again ... workstation was already given to person who will be using it.

Edit: Please say yes, it took over 12 minutes to do the rendering part if CB 2003 on the Celeron 300A (the 500A 100MHz overheated twice, so its a no-go), and doing the rest of the benchmarking on a Diamond Viper V550 is painful.

128MB of RAM isn't enough under Windows XP. And the score is 6 points higher in Windows ME. Also, Windows XP doesn't support Voodoo2.

Here is my Celeron 300A again, this time on my Intel SE440BX (the differences in scores is probably due to the motherboard itself since the 440BX chipset is far better than that found on my Jetway 994 AN-L). Unfortunately I can't get CPU-Z to run no matter what tweaks I do to Windows ME (I can get it to install however), so this will have to do:

No programs let me read the voltage properly. I wish I could get 5 ghz at 1.25 volts, but the voltage is really in the neighborhood of 1.45v

Q: Did ProKoN used Dual Socket board for it's top AM2+ score ?
Because it's hard to belive that a similar clocked Dual Core is faster than Quad Core in Cinebench R11.5/R15

older version of cpuz? it works on win 98, so i dont see why it wouldnt work on ME?

sounds like its reading the Core VID rather than the core voltage, you can change it so it reads the voltage but i forgot how? also nice core speed, whats the cache and memory speed like as you can gain a lot higher score from overclocking those too.

I can score over 1300 if I leave speedstep off, so it sits at 4.4Ghz at all times, because of the amount of time it takes the Cpu to crank up to full speed. But as it sits with speedstep, I get between 1274 and 1276.

I would recommend overclocking that.  It's pretty slow.

Just like Jumper suggested, overclock that chip!!

And also just one fast processor wont help 3d rendering that much especially if you require lots of frames at high resolution, i would suggest distributed rendering for higher price to performance ratio.
