if i get anything else it'd be cooling :D

X5470

Also got a H240X on the way when it's back in stock, so I'm ready to pretty much blow this chip up.

Let's see what 2.0V can get me

it isn't surely? it only just beats a 3220

Sure is, stock 3570K scores 399, which suggests something wrong with that run but whatever.

Also, check my title

Well, minor update, I had high hopes for this 0904 BIOS. Unfortunately, nothing more has been squeezed out of my 5960x. Had 2 back-to-back runs at 4.4Ghz/2.9cache then 3rd freeze locked on me. Scores were actually lower than when I had the 4.375BLCK OC. Could probably get it stable at 1.34v (had it at 1.32) but at this point in my rig's early life just not worth it. Although I did just batch convert 5 episodes of Homeland in under 10min w/Xilisoft and CUDA accel :D

The i7-980X is throwing its usual shit-fit of windows updates after clearing all the drives for resale. I may have time tomorrow to get it Cinebench ready, the BIOS is preserved and OC still functioning. Still have no idea why it freezes when it goes to sleep, forgot to edit the power saving features on first boot

Right... my brother owes me a (biiig) favor and I was given a £50 amazon voucher on my birthday I haven't used, what'd be a good sub-£90 cooler?

I was looking at the Nepton 280L as it's a 280mm rad, any thoughts?

A couple more scores for you to add Jumper :P

Updated GTX 650 Ti, no idea why it is a lot better compared to last time. I'm assuming it must be the RAM that I've installed. Because the GTX 650 Ti has gained a fair few FPS I'm curious to see if the GTX 660 will improve its score as well.

Very disappointing GTX 780 score that I'm hoping is the result of the Core i3-2120.

well it is very cpu limited so that 780 will be throttled a bit, but i wouldn't think that much

In a week or so I will be getting either a Core i5-2500K or Core i7-2600K depending if I can find any good ones on eBay, I hope that score will increase because I am planning to get a second 780 Lightning very soon.

that will be a massive upgrade. :D  i'm not too sure you'll be getting great clocks with that G43 motherboard though.  :( have you tried overclocking your 780 lightning yet? they tend to be great on the core and rubbish on the memory. there was one batch with samsung ram, but they are very rare.

I haven't OC'ed yet and may not, I was going to get a GTX 980 but saw that they were on pre-order still and couldn't be bothered to wait. Also wanting to go SLI again because the last SLI I had was all those years ago with a pair of BFG Tech GeForce 8800 GT's.

I'm getting a new board in a month because this G43 isn't SLI capable.

ok it might help if the board can do sli :P any ideas on what board you are going to get? there are loads of nice z77 boards that should be fairly cheap now.
