i think it's a tad slower than it could be, i got 730 from a 4690k at 4.8

Whatever I try, I can't get it above 4.6Ghz, but it is still a major step-up from my previous FX-6100!

This is my nas, 775 Xeon X3210 4c/4t

My main rig, 5820k. I've had one test beat the X5650 but I can't seem to replicate it, but I'd say I'm not doing bad as that has double the cores :-)

Ok

here is my submission for Cinebench

you using multi or fsb or both? maybe try one at a time? also you ram could be running a fair bit faster looking at the specs for slot 1 and i would think the ram is slot 2 could do that if you gave it 2.2v

My Q9400 oc at 3.4 stable :D

[ /spoiler]

nice to see a 775 cpu with a respectable oc. there are way too many in this thread sitting at stock that could be going much much faster!

I will be posting my Pentium E5200 shortly so let's see how that goes in the single thread department I guess :P

you should get 4ghz out of one easy. i think my slowest one out of 25 cpu's did 3.95ghz and that was really bad compared to the others. i had a lot around the 4.1ghz-4.2ghz

Yea I have a crap ton of Pentium Dual cores, Pentium 4s and Ds along with Core 2 Duos and Quads. Only problem is my 780i died more or less (chipset problems) so I just bought these, quite decent for overclocking the dual-core chips but I don't think I would push a Q6600 all that much on it.

Haha, yea I was like buy used or getting something new right now so that's what I did :P Going to pick up a nicer board later this month or try re-flowing my 780i again. Who knows.

3.2Ghz on the Pentium E5200 @ 1.30v is not to bad for a G41 chipset I presume, I do know the E2160s overclock like hell on these boards so that is my next CPU to try I guess.

the crash wasnt even cpu related. I think it was my gpu crapping on me. But the psu is plenty like 1300watts Coolermaster hybrid. But what is really weird the gpu didnt crash during benchmark in Heaven and Firestrike. But after it shows the result and left the pc for 10 mins and boom BSOD.

Dis 480 is flying on water :D

I fucked up and used the wrong LOD setting though, pretty sure score should of been like 130,000.

I need to get my XP install working for better scores though.

I have a G41 board from Gigabyte which supports DDR3 1333MHz RAMs

I got an auto OC of my Q6600 from 2.4GHz to 3GHz because the FSB was matching the RAM speeds

it will support the Q6600 no issue but you just have to be gentle with the voltages since the VRMs are uncooled

Yea I have some heatsinks from the aftermarket cooler I got for my 760 so I just need to find my thermal glue and throw those on since that does worry me also. I have a single 4GB DDR3 1333 stick in the Gigabyte right now and having the DDR3 does help  a lot when overclocking I did notice compared to the DDR2 :)
