How To Reset An Asus Router?

I recently bought an Asus RT-N56U router and used it as an access point it works but I have no way of getting into the asus configuration page. How can i reset the router and redo everything?

Did you forget the password for the router access?

 

You might be able to do a hard reset, usually a pin hole that does it and resets to factory defaults.

192.168.1.1 doesn't work.

 

I tried resetting it and now it is blinking slowly on power button

When you say you couldn't get in do you mean you couldn't find it on the network? Cause you could have used a network scanner to find it and use that ip address you found to access the AP. An example would be an app called Fing that is on both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store to scan your network and see what is connected locally. But if you reset the Asus router then when you turn it back into an AP then see if you can set a static ip on it that no device on your network currently uses.

I just reset it and now its power button is blinking slowly.

I reset it and restore it and it still doesn't work. Planning on to return it.

I got it back to all the things to blink but the service icon is blank
