Maybe now more people will support the supreme power of 4x RX480s in CF.

Joke. It's a joke, guys.

Well, they just tried with the whole RX 480 debacle.  They got tons of bad PR even though it doesn't really matter unless you're using a super budget MB (I know that lots of people who would buy a 480 might be on one, but not enough to flip out about).  I think that it was deceptive and the wrong way to go about it, but if they tried to do many of the things nVidia does, they'd lose some of their loyal fanbase and it'd likely be a PR disaster.

yea when nvidia messes up we tend to let them off the hook more readily than when amd messes up

I wouldn't say that. People are still mentioning 480 and drivers that killed off GPUs, even though AMD had the same issues not long ago when Crimson driver was killing AMD GPUs.

I'm not gonna mention AMD's super hot GPUs and power consumption. It's getting old. :D

Well, to be fair, AMD only released botched drivers once. Nvidia has multiple releases.

I think everyone needs to grow a pair and upgrade to windows 10 for two reasons. To shut Microsoft the fuck up and push the lazy ass developers to make DX12 games. It's been what? Almost a year since DX12 was released? Come on already...

You do realize that the entire point of the Windows 10 platform, is to

A. Save M$ money by only having to develop for 1 platform (mostly, and not necessarily a bad thing)

B. Make money by collecting your data, to be sold for marketing purposes? This isn't a "conspiracy theory", it's in the End User License Agreement that you agreed to.

It's a statement, of fact. Windows 10 is designed to sell your information for marketing purposes. Sure, you can try and disable the telemetry, but every time you download a "security update", which you will eventually have to do (regardless of whether or not you have blocked the updates) for security purposes, your workarounds to block the telemetry will likely be undone, or some workaround to bypass them will be implemented. You will have to continuously fight with M$ over control of your system.
