i5-6600K temps too low??

I got an i5-6600K running at stock speeds and turbo-ing at 3.9    my temps are 35C at idle and  45-50 while gaming   very good thermal performance ?? or just  something wrong with the chip? iam using a no name brand cpu air cooler its kinda bad,  Its summer someone would think that that cpu would run hotter  and me living .

Also I am living in Greece ambient temps in my room are 30C

cpu cooler? Gaming doesn't really stress cpu's very much these days.

Stock speeds with mine i would  rarely hit 50c while gaming and run at about 20-25c at idle (20c ambient)

Did you try a CPU benchmark? A synthetic benchmark will push your CPU much harder than any game will.

If you want to be certain there is nothing wrong with you CPU you should just look up some benchmarks online with computers similar to yours. If you get significantly lower      performance there is probably something wrong.

That being said, for a non-overclocked CPU those temps aren't remarkable...

So nothing wrong with my chip ? k got it xD

i was kinda worried because when i first got it it showed temps at 15-18  i thought  the sensor was being retarded.

The idle temps are a bit high, but what games are you playing? If it is a 8 bit game, ofc it is like that.

You mean they are too high?  Keep i mind i am using a shitty cooler and my room's temps are quite high, Now you mention it i have done some benchmarks  i always score lower  but some of these benchmarks do not show if the CPu was OC'ed or not so i dint pay much attention do you think i should use my warranty?

No there not high at all. They look fine. If there is not a significant difference between you systeem and the internet-benched one then I wouldn't RMA it...

With my single 120mm AIO Watercooler+ CM N600 Case,... In Australia's Summer, my locked 4690 @ 3.9Ghz sits all day at 62-65*c under decent load (Encoding or BF4/GTA5)

Less in other non-CPU intensive games/apps.

Winter it's about 53-56*c @ extended periods of load.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Same processor here (haven't overclocked yet so it is running at 3,5) and same country (my room gets quite hot too), but I have a Cryorig R1 Universal on it and my temps are a bit lower than yours, 30 celcius idle and about 40 celcius when gaming online rpg's.

Seek and you shall find.

This shouldn't be the case... An i5 is usually maxed out when gaming...so temps should be pretty much the same but oh well...
